The Audible Listening Lodge will once again host the “Variety x Audible Cocktails & Conversations” panel events, bringing together actors, directors, and creators from diverse mediums and backgrounds. Taking place on Friday, January 24 and Sunday, January 26, these conversations will feature engaging and inspiring discussions with visionary talent. On Friday, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Ronan Farrow, actor André Holland, actor Juliette Lewis, Audible’s Chief Content Officer Rachel Ghiazza, and more will explore how they adapt their creative processes to engage modern audiences across entertainment mediums, offering unique insights into the past, present, and future of narrative crafting. On Sunday, the cast and creators of Audible’s The Big Fix: A Jack Bergin Mystery, including actors Jon Hamm, Alia Shawkat, Ana de la Reguera, Producer and Director Aaron Lipstadt, and Kate Navin, Executive Producer, The Big Fix, and Head of Creative Development for North America at Audible, will participate in a thought-provoking conversation about the new installment of John Mankiewicz’s Audible Original, The Big Fix.

On Friday, January 24 at the Sunrise Collective House, Audible will also partner with Gold House, the leading Asian and Pacific Islander (API) changemaker organization, to host “From Sound to Screen and Beyond, presented by Audible,” an inspiring discussion about how visionary creators harness innovative formats to captivate audiences with rich, interconnected storytelling across various entertainment mediums. Featuring Producer Joseph Patel, Comedian and Co-Host of Hysteria podcast Kiran Doel, Head of Development, 3AD, John Cheng, and Audible’s Global Head of Content Acquisition, Strategy and Partnership, Pat Shah.

Closing out the weekend, Sundance and Audible will welcome emerging creators to The AudibleListening Lodge for the “Redefining Storytelling: Creating Compelling Narratives Through Audio” panel on Monday, January 27. This invite-only event will feature a thoughtful discussion exploring the vast potential of audio storytelling and the creation of content across TV, cinema, and audio with panelists including Josh Poole, Director, Creative Development at Audible, John Mankiewicz, Emmy-nominated Writer, Producer, creator of The Big Fix: A Jack Bergin Mystery, and Blaine Morris, filmmaker. The panel is part of a broader partnership between Sundance and Audible, which includes the upcoming Sundance Collab Audio Intensive in April 2025, aimed at nurturing emerging talent in the audio storytelling space.
