Furnace and the Fundamentals are musical chameleons with a sense of humour. The band is tight, energetic and engaging and they’ve done a lot – across Australia, the UK, Europe, Asia & New Zealand they’ve played Falls Festival, the British & Australian F1 Grand Prix, Lost Paradise, Edinburgh, Adelaide & Perth Fringe Festivals, Zomerfestival IJmuiden, St Kilda Festival, Big Red Bash, Mundi Mundi Bash, the Super Rugby Finals, NYE at Sydney Harbour and countless packed club shows, including sold out performances at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, Brisbane’s Tivoli and London’s Electric Ballroom. Now in 2024 they’re on an extensive tour of Australia, the UK & Europe, visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth & London, as well as featuring at the iconic Big Red Bash in Birdsville, Broken Hill’s Mundi Mundi Bash, Glenworth Valley’s Grazing Festival and UK festivals Todd in the Hole and Carfest. They will also return to the Netherlands to headline the legendary Saturday night party at Zomerfestival Ijmuiden.
Furnace and the Fundamentals have put the cool back in cover bands with an eclectic blend of the best songs ever written, describing themselves as ‘the most ridiculous & energetic party band ever.’
Honouring some of the greatest artists of our times, their repertoire covers countless hits, performed with their incredible musicianship and a stunning stage presence. From The Beatles to Beyonce, Queen to Daft Punk, The Lion King to Dirty Dancing and everything in between.
With their previous release, the Christmas record ‘A Very Furnace Christmas’ catapulting them onto commercial radio and TV appearances, as well as Top 40 chart debuts in Australia and Germany, it’s been a crazy ride for the Aussie party band, with plenty more to come.
