Dizzy Days

Brimming with energy, passion, and heat, Dizzy Days has ignited the scene with their disco-dance pop anthems that have been resonating young and old fanbases alike. The fiery four-piece band crafts a unique sound that stands out from their contemporaries and artists surrounding them alike. Lead vocalist Aisling O’Byrne, with an electric stage presence and soulful wit, leads the charge. Flanked by the mesmerizing bass lines of Bridgette Dabinett, the sparkling guitar riffs of EJ Carey, and the energetic drums of Mikaela Swan, making them an unstoppable force.

Matthew Ifield

Joining Lake Street Dive in Sydney is Australian singer-songwriter Matthew Ifield. A dreamy vocalist with a voice beyond his years, 19 year-old Matthew discovered his love for singing at just four years old, marking the beginning of his musical journey. Since 2020 he has organically amassed a young engaged social audience and millions of views across his channels with his short covers at home, plus originals and holiday classics.

After the release of his debut project ‘A Christmas Album’ last year, Matthew has spent 2024 soft-releasing original singles including ‘Just Say The Words’ and ‘Like I Do (feat Khloe Rose)’ whilst also writing and recording his debut album. Influenced by artists like Laufey, Bruno Major, and grentperez, Matt’s music showcases the smooth timbre of his voice, with a modern spin on classic genres. His recent cover of Elliot James Reay’s ‘I Think They Call This Love’ instantly resonated with fans around the world, along with recent performances in Indonesia, South Korea, and more to be announced.

Supported by a full-female band, Matt Ifield is an artist that must be experienced live.

Joan & The Giants

Proving to be an act to watch in 2024, Boorloo (Perth)-based indie pop-rock band Joan & The Giants were thrust into the spotlight following the release of their single ‘Born In The Wrong Time’. The track won them the Happy Mag‘Needle in the Hay’ comp and Best Rock Song / Runner Up Song of the Year at the 2024 WA Song of the Year Awards as well as landing triple j Unearthed feature artist.

Having recently supported global superstars like P!NK and Tones & I, Joan & The Giants are captivating crowds and critics across the country with their heart on sleeve, anthemic pop rock music. Helmed by Nyul Nyul man Aaron Birch and powerhouse queer vocalist Grace-Newton Wordsworth, this band will leave you feeling just as giant as they are.

About Lake Street Dive

Lake Street Dive have pushed the possibilities of pop music as a unifying force, not only through their eclectic sound — a boldly original cross-pollination of soul, folk, jazz, classic pop, and more — the five-piece’s all-embracing ethos has also made them a beloved live band known for building a potent connection among every crowd. In the making of their new album Good Together, vocalist Rachael Price, bassist/background vocalist Bridget Kearney, drummer/background vocalist Mike Calabrese, keyboardist/vocalist Akie Bermiss, and guitarist/background vocalist James Cornelison reinforced the deep sense of purpose behind their output, often turning their attention to the many factors driving us apart today (e.g., unchecked technological growth, culturally imposed isolation, the cult of relentless self-optimization). Born from a mindset they refer to as “joyful rebellion,” Good Together arrives as a body of work both gloriously defiant and primed to inspire unbridled dancing and ecstatic singing-along.

The follow-up to 2021’s Obviously, Good Together finds Lake Street Dive working again with Grammy-winning producer Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr.). With its sonic landscape encompassing everything from R&B to funk to Brazilian pop, the album opens on its title track: a left-of-center love song celebrating the thrill of defying expectation and following your heart’s desire. Next, on ‘Dance with a Stranger,’ Lake Street Dive once again prove their undeniable gift for crafting feel-good songs with an illuminating message, simultaneously inducing a carefree euphoria and gently fostering empathy. The wildly cathartic ‘Walking Uphill’ presents gripping meditation on the work of self-repair, while ‘Seats at the Bar’ puts a sweetly playful twist on the classic love song. And on ‘Twenty-Five,’ Price shares a stark and lovely ballad steeped in tender reminiscence of a long-ago romance. All throughout Good Together, Lake Street Dive tap into the palpable camaraderie that’s fuelled the band since their formation, ultimately delivering their most collaborative, expansive, and powerfully exuberant work to date.

Witness the unifying force of Lake Street Dive this March with special guests Matthew Ifield, Dizzy Days and Joan & The Giants!
